K-2 Open House

Tonight we welcomed all of our K-2 parents and students! The PTA was set up in the Media Center with information about our Fall Fundraiser, selling Smencils, helping you sign up for PTA Membership, and best of all, giving away FREE popcorn!!! We enjoy the chance to meet parents, grandparents, and family members. This coming Thursday we will welcome our 3-5 parents and students. Stop by and meet us. We look forward to meeting you! Don't forget to pick up some Popcorn! 

Noreen Parish-Grant (PTA Hospitality Chairperson) and Carol Foster (PTA Vice President of Programs) spent the evening selling Smencils and Scented Bookmarks!!!
Smencils and Bookmarks are always just $1.00!!!  

Melissa Foss (PTA Vice President of Fundraising) had samples of our Fall Fundraiser  product and answered a lot of questions!

Kami Swanson (PTA Recording Secretary) and Mason Haywood (PTA Box Tops Co-Chairperson) made a ton of popcorn! A 20 lb. bag to be exact!!!

Getting Better All the Time!!!

The Car Rider Circle is getting better! Our arrival and dismal times are less and less, day by day! Please continue to follow all procedures! 

Please remember,  you can drop off your child any time after 7:50 am!

Fall Fundraiser has began!!!!

Today we kicked off our fundraising season with our Fall Fundraiser! The Family Collection 2010 along with TOTES is a great way to show our school your support! Choose from over 100 items to make your Holiday gifts even better. 

Prizes start at one item and are cumulative... so the more you sell, the more you earn!!! Check out your prize chart for more details! When your students sell 25 items, they will qualify to go on a "Limo Lunch Ride" in a... Hummer Limo!!! Don't miss out on all the fun! Just 25 items earns you the trip!

The Greatest Grandparents on Earth!

WOW! That is all we can say! We had an awesome time at our Annual Grandparents Tea! We had over 210 grandparents in attendance with over 250 grandchildren. A special thanks to Sam's Club on Busch Drive and Chik-fil-A at River City! 
We couldn't do it without you!

The Cafeteria filled almost to capacity! It was so exciting to see the children's faces as they came through the door and spotted their Grandparents! 

The PTA gave away a gift to the Grandparent who traveled the farthest, the grandpa that won traveled from Califonia!

We also gave away a gift to the Grandparent with those most grandchildren attending school at New Berlin Elementary, here is Landon, 5th grade, Olivia, 4th grade, Baylor, 3rd grade, Corbin, 1st grade, and Audrey, kindergarten with their Grandmother! 

Every Kid Wants To Be Sick?!?

The NBE Clinic received a beautiful make-over during our Summer Break! No more white walls. Now we have a mural of Champ and his friends. Pictures don't do it justice. Stop by the Front Office and see for yourself! 

Welcome Back Parents and Students!

We hope that everyone made it back to school in one piece this morning! Traffic was an issue, but hopefully by the end of the week everyone will be back in the swing of things! The NBE PTA would like to welcome everyone back. We look forward with anticipation to a great school year! 

If you have not registered your vehicle for student dismissal, please visit the NBE Front Office to do so. The Administration has been working diligently over the summer to create a safe school environment from student arrival all the way to student dismissal! Thank you in advance for you cooperation.  

Don't forget to join NBE PTA today! Membership is $5.00 per person! Each student that is represented by a PTA Membership will receive a FREE HOMEWORK PASS!!! The first class to 100% PTA Membership will receive a PTA PARTY (Pizza, Twinkies, and Apple Juice)! Don't miss out!

Welcome Teachers!

On Monday, August 16, 2010 the NBE PTA welcomed back teachers with a Cracker Barrell Breakfast. This gave the PTA Board a chance to meat new teachers as well as visit with returning teachers. The teachers where thrilled with breakfast! 

We also had many teachers once again join PTA and become a part of "The Greatest PTA on Earth!" Here are a few snapshots... 

The Greatest School on Earth!

Each year around May the school becomes a buzz. Everyone wants to know that top secret information. What is next years school theme? Well, this past Friday our teachers arrived at the Firmans Hall and the secret was out. The 2010-2011 school theme is... New Berlin Elementary, The GREATEST School on Earth (Circus)! Our teachers were challenged to "think outside the tent", "juggle the three ring circus", and "walk the tight rope of education"! So next year at New Berlin there will be no "clowning around"!
